Last weekend, we headed up to Calgary to photograph one of our favorite couples. We have had the privilege of photographing Garrett & Alyssa's engagement pictures, wedding, and now their maternity portriats. They are expecting their first baby and we are beyond excited for them! While I'm working on their photos from this past weekend, I realized that this lovely couple has never been on the Love and be Loved blog before. So before we post their maternity pictures, we want to show you a few favorites from their engagement session. These shots are a few years old now, but are still some of our favorites. The scenery in Bragg Creek and Elbow Falls, Alberta is absolutely breathtaking! There is something almost magical about the mountains in winter.

Garrett & Alyssa's maternity portraits are coming to the blog soon, but we hope you enjoy this little throwback in the meantime!

When we first met Natasha last summer during her initial consult, we instantly liked her. She was so full of joy and had such a sweet genuine smile. We didn't meet Jason during that first meeting, as he was serving in Afghanistan at the time, but we knew that these two must have an incredible love.

We met up with them for their engagement portraits on a cold, winter day in Lethbridge, AB. These two didn't let the weather get to them, even though Natasha was literally shaking, she still rocked every single shot. They were so incredible to photograph, and the love that they have for each other is so evident. After shooting in a few different outdoor locations around Lethbridge, we decided to head inside to CASA to finish off their session and to warm up a bit.

We are so looking forward to watching these two get married this summer!

Lindsey + Keith are such a fun couple. While chatting with them at their initial consult, it was clear that they loved adventure and the outdoors. When Lindsey suggested heading out to Waterton National Park for their engagement session, we immediately jumped at the idea.  It's such a gorgeous place, especially in Winter.

We spent the day driving to Waterton and chatting about their lives. How they met, how they fell in love, the proposal, and their upcoming wedding. It was so nice to have that time to get to know them. They are headed back to Waterton after their Lethbridge wedding this summer for a bonfire with their closest friends and family. Have I mentioned that we have the best clients?! What a fabulous way to end your wedding day!
